Here you will find progress and updates related to the Treasury of Scripture Knowledge, Russian ed. project, as well as samples and other files.
See a manually created draft of 1 Corinthians here.
There will be at least 3 stages to this project.
STAGE 1
- Determine if someone else has already created a database (or similar file / repository) where the text of the Russian Synodal Translation (RST) has been mapped to Strong’s numbers or similar numbering system.
- Locate similar database / repository for the KJV (which serves as the basis for the original TSK).
- Locate repository for versification differences (Tyndale House / STEPBible’s versification repository will probably work, but needs to be vetted; it will at least serve as a starting point).
- Locate repository for original TSK.
- Develop any databases / repositories that need to be developed.
- Determine best way / script to use in working with the TSK, KJV w/ Strong’s, RST w/ Strong’s, and versification repositories.
STAGE 2
- Use The Gospel of Mark to test the automation process using the repositories above.
- Develop and run test checks to ensure accuracy of automation.
- Make any necessary updates and changes to the process.
- Run automation on entire corpus.
- Run test checks to ensure accuracy of automation.
STAGE 3
- Research best printing and distribution options.
- Prepare files for printing.
- Raise any necessary funds for printing.
- Print and distribute.
STAGE 4
- Develop similar process for other languages (beginning with Romanian).
- Develop electronic editions for online and various apps (STEPBible, e-Sword, Logos, Accordance, etc.).
